Use the clause bank to build a contract

Assemble a contract from vetted clauses and get AI to draft custom ones.

Open the Clause Library

Go to Contracts → Clause Library tab (or open Knowledge Base → Clause Library). The library is organised by category: Confidentiality, Termination, Liability, IP, Dispute, and General.

Filter by category and risk level

Use the Category filter to narrow down to the area you need. The Risk column shows Low, Medium, or High — green clauses are balanced and standard, red ones are weighted toward one party and need careful consideration.

Preview a clause

Click any clause to read the full text in the preview panel on the right. The panel also shows a plain-English explanation of what the clause does and when to use it.

Copy a clause into your contract

Tap Copy Clause to copy the text to your clipboard. Go to your contract draft in the editor and paste it where it belongs. Replace any [PLACEHOLDER] values with your actual details.

Get AI to suggest a custom clause

If none of the library clauses fit your situation, scroll to the AI Clause Suggestion section. Enter the Clause Type (e.g. 'Non-solicitation') and describe the Context — e.g. 'We need a 12-month non-solicit covering both employees and clients'. Tap Suggest Clause.

Review and use the AI draft

The AI produces a full clause in standard legal language. Read it carefully — it's a starting point, not a finished product. Edit anything that doesn't fit, then copy it into your contract.

Use the Build Contract tool

To assemble a full contract from scratch, go to Contracts → Build Contract. Select the clauses you need by ticking their checkboxes, pick the order, and tap Generate Contract. The system stitches them into a single document ready to edit and send.
