Set your inventory defaults (Settings tab)
Choose the default low-stock level, tax category and stock tracking.
Open Settings
On Smart Inventory, tap the Settings tab (owners only).
Stock Tracking Defaults
Set the Default Low Stock Threshold (when to warn you an item is running low) and Track Stock by Default (whether new items count stock automatically).
New Item Defaults
Choose a Default Tax Category and Default Costing Method so every new item starts with the right VAT and cost settings.
Saved as you go
Each choice saves on its own, and new items pick up these defaults automatically — saving you from setting them each time.
