A refresh is fine
If the page reloads, the device sleeps, or you come back to it later, the till remembers who you are and your open shift.
Confirm it's you
For safety you may be asked to type your PIN again to resume your session — this keeps the till secure if you stepped away.
Carry on selling
Your shift, your location, and anything you were ringing up come back so you can pick up exactly where you left off.
